Joshua is a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who tailors his lessons to meet the unique needs of each student, fostering confidence and academic growth. He encourages independent thinking by engaging students with interactive activities and thought-provoking questions, guiding them to discover solutions before sharing his expert insights.
Joshua holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science from The University of New South Wales (2023) and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Renaissance College (2017). His academic background and understanding of the IB system equip him to support students effectively.
With over six years of tutoring experience, Joshua has worked with primary and secondary students, specializing in international school curricula. As a full-time tutor, he has helped numerous students improve academically. His earlier roles as a part time swimming coach and tutor honed his ability to connect with young learners aged 6-17.

In his free time, Joshua captains the Yan Fook Ma On Shan Church Football Team, mentors youth at his church, and enjoys playing chess, a passion he pursued by founding the Chinese Chess Club at Renaissance College. He also loves organizing community events, such as church missions, where he has performed and led initiatives.
Joshua’s passion for education and mentoring drives him to inspire students to embrace learning with enthusiasm. His goal is to empower young learners to achieve their academic potential and develop a lifelong curiosity for knowledge.
